Teacher With Special Assignments - Math and Writing Intervention


Essential Functions

Responsible for instructing scholars using the classical model of learning combined with data-driven decision-making.  Collaborates with general education teachers, support specialists, and administrators while working as a team to identify and serve Intervention Strategies for Scholars in the primary grades.

Will the school with the differentiation of needs and behaviors within grade levels.  Establishes campus activities, disseminating and receiving information related to 504s and the CLD program; planning and implementing testing and/or special events; addressing operational issues related to CLD Learner activities at the school.  

Support and ensure that scholar discipline issues are addressed in a timely manner with site administration, the discipline policies established by Leman Academy of Excellence and the Colorado Employee Handbook.

Works alongside in shepherding a group of teachers in areas of academic excellence, effective intervention and teaching strategies, classical education, Charlotte Mason techniques, and Dr. Leman’s philosophies that are congruent to our mission statement. 

Contributes to formal school communications, as assigned by the Principal.
